"Tarven" is a large Tudor style house in beautiful grounds of about one acre, in a quiet and delightful woodland setting. It is close to all amenities, including Poole Quay and Ferry Terminal (10 minutes), Bournemouth (20 minutes) and Wimborne (10 minutes). Broadstone Golf Course and sports centre are only one mile away.

Sandbanks beaches, at Poole, are among the finest in England and are only 15 minutes away by car. If you prefer the countryside you can visit the Purbeck Hills and the New Forest, both of which are within easy reach. It is an ideal touring centre for both countryside and coastal scenery, the Jurassic Coast now has World Heritage status. In addition it is an ideal choice for people working in the area.

A very warm welcome awaits you at "Tarven" from your host, Marion Browning in a comfortable and homely atmosphere.

Please note that smoking is NOT permitted but guests are welcome to use the grounds surrounding the house.
There is ample parking within the grounds.

We welcome children over the age of 4, with reductions depending on age and type of room.

For breakfast there is fruit juice, a selection of cereals, followed by the full traditional English breakfast, toast and accompanied by tea or coffee. Special diets are also catered for. Breakfast times are arranged to suit guests including early breakfast for ferry passengers.

Tea making facilities are available in all rooms. Iron and hair dryer are available on request.

Spacious bathroom, including bath, shower & toilet. There is another shower & toilet on ground floor.

Accommodation: is limited to 4 guests and consists of:

A spacious double/family room overlooking the garden with 1 double bed, plus 1 single, so the room can also be twin bedded. Wash basin and colour TV.

The large single room overlooks woodland and has a wash basin and colour TV.

The smaller single room overlooks the garden and has a colour TV.

Terms for Bed & Breakfast: From £25 per person per night.
Small supplement for single nights.
A deposit of £10 per person is required when booking. Please note that this is NON-REFUNDABLE.
